Sowania Germain LMHC P.C. is growing and seeking dedicated, faith-driven Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC, MHC-LP) to join our dynamic and supportive remote practice. We provide psychotherapy through a Christian perspective to individuals, couples, and families across New York State.

We are especially looking for clinicians interested in working with a maternal mental health population, including clients navigating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), infertility, loss, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting challenges. Prior experience in maternal mental health is welcomed, but training and mentorship are available for passionate clinicians eager to grow in this specialty.

About the Role

• Remote/Telehealth Position: Provide therapy via our secure video platform from your home.
• Clientele: Adolescents, adults, couples, families—with growing demand in the maternal mental health space.
• Approach: Offer Christian-based counseling (when requested), with a commitment to inclusivity and cultural sensitivity.
• Flexible Hours: Must be available for a minimum of 15 hours/week, including evenings and/or weekends (daytime-only availability cannot be considered).

Compensation

This is a fee-for-service (1099 contractor) position with competitive pay based on weekly caseload:

• 12–15 clients/week: $40/hr
• 16–19 clients/week: $43/hr
• 20–30 clients/week: $46/hr
• 31+ clients/week: $50/hr

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• NYS licensure (MHC eligible for a Limited Permit)
• Interest or experience in maternal mental health (training support provided)
• Experience in Christian counseling or faith-integrated therapy
• Strong tech/computer skills; must have a personal computer and high-speed internet
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Excellent communication, compassion, and clinical skills

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $41.17 per hour
