Job Description

Richard Lambert Foundation Family Grief & Healing Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated part-time grief therapist to join our team of professionals. We are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to individuals and families experiencing grief. Our office offers a comfortable environment, including a play therapy room for children receiving support.

Our provider-centric approach allows you to focus on the client care, while we handle all of the administrative services. All of our Clinicians are Independent Contractors who want the flexibility and freedoms in having their own practice, without the full scope of responsibility involved in owning and operating a solitary business. The Richard Lambert Foundation was founded by grieving parents who value accessible grief counseling and support services. This visionary initiative aims to assist grieving families and serve individuals encountering barriers to healthcare access. Our mission is to inspire hope, facilitate healing, and guide bereaved children and adults in rebuilding a meaningful life intertwined with their grief.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Provide grief counseling and therapy to individuals (including children and teens) and families.
  • Must be comfortable working with children and teens in addition to our adult clientele.
  • Group facilitation.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practice in the field of grief, death and dying.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in grief.
  • Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and facilitate therapeutic relationships.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
  • Google Drive and Calendar proficient.
  • Registered with DORA.
  • Maintain clinical notes, treatment plans, and records in accordance with DORA, Colorado State, HIPPA, and insurance laws and regulations.
  • Satisfactory background investigation report.

Hours

We are seeking a commitment of a minimum of one full day of in-person sessions or a minimum of 10 client caseloads per week. Additional hours and days may be available for remote work if desired.

You can choose your own hours, though Wednesday and Thursday are preferred for in-person sessions.is preferred for in-person sessions.

License/Certification

  • Licensure in the State of Colorado is required to apply.
  • Master of Divinity, Pastoral Counseling with three (3) years of spiritual and grief care experience in hospice or related field are welcome to apply.
