Endeavor Health’s NorthShore Hospitals Division of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. The Geriatric Psychiatrist will establish a stimulating and varied outpatient psychiatry practice focusing on Geriatric Psychiatry with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Weekly, the role requires maintaining an average of 30 bookable hours combining in-person and telehealth care, primarily serving the outpatient geriatric patient population. About 4 hours per week will focus on developing a Geriatric Psychiatry outpatient program. Participation in Adult Psychiatry weekday call rotation and weekend coverage rotation is expected. Potential appointment as Medical Director of the service is possible. Requirements include completion of ACGME-accredited General Psychiatry residency and Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship, Illinois medical license or pending, DEA/Controlled Substance License, and BC/BE with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
