School Psychologist – Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus! New Psychology Grads Welcome

Brookville, NY

Schedule: M-F 8:30 am – 4 pm (Full-Time 35hrs/wk.)

12-Month School Calendar

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 Annually based upon experience and credentials

Brookville Center for Children's Services provides comprehensive services for children 5-21 years of age with intellectual and other disabilities, traumatic brain injury, and autism. Our mission is to educate and support children of all abilities.

We seek a School Psychologist to evaluate and provide appropriate psychological services to assigned students and coordinate psych-educational planning with interdisciplinary teams and parents.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and maintain counseling caseloads per IEP mandates.
  • Provide behavior management services, including Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.
  • Train staff on behavior interventions, review data and modify plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, and collaborate with school districts.
  • Maintain SCIP-R certification, attend team meetings, and participate in building-wide trainings.
  • Foster effective communication with parents and ensure student health and safety.
  • Adhere to organizational policies, ethical conduct, and professional development requirements.
  • Address the needs of special groups and ensure confidentiality while promoting a positive environment.

We require:

  • MA or MS in Psychology required.
  • Licensure and current registration by the New York State Department of Education and Certification as a School Psychologist are required.
  • Behavior Analyst Certification and/or license or enrollment in an accredited BCBA program preferred.
  • Must be proficient in administering standardized tests. Proficiency in assessment and coursework in child development is required.
  • Physical capacity: Aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of students.
