About Job

Position Summary/Department Summary:
This social work position will provide a full range of clinical social work services and case management to all specialties at Boston Children’s Weymouth (free parking!). This satellite offers ambulatory services in over 48 pediatric specialties and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing psychosocial screening and assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitation of use of hospital and community services
  • Acting as a resource information and referral, program development and psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary teams

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
  • Master’s degree in social work.
Experience:
  • Social work experience in a medical environment highly preferred
  • Flexibility and the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in child protection issues helpful
  • Persons of diversity strongly encouraged to apply
Licensure/Certifications:
  • LICSW licensure in the state of MA is required
