Join us as an Overnight Intake Coordinator!
Full Time 32 hours including every other weekend.
The Intake Coordinator, under the supervision of the Chief Intake Officer, is responsible for facilitating the admission process for TaraVista & MiraVista. As a member of the Intake and Admissions team the Overnight Intake Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and accepting referrals, verifying insurance eligibility, and communicating with and providing excellent customer service to referrals sources and emergency rooms. Location is at TaraVista, Devens, MA while also working for MiraVista, Holyoke, MA remotely.
Maintaining patient privacy and safety
Reviewing and accepting referrals
Verifying insurance eligibility
Communicating with and providing excellent customer service to referral sources and ER's.
Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Intake Officer
Successful Intake Coordinator candidates will have the following:
CPR certification required.
Previous psychiatric/substance inpatient experience preferred.
Previous Intake/Admissions experience strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Behavior Health and Substance Abuse treatment modalities.
Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.
Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Medical Record.
Crisis management and time management skills.
Exhibit flexibility, creativity, and ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, organized and professional manner.
