Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist | Full Time | Outpatient | On-site



Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role offers flexibility in scheduling, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to focus on patient care without administrative burden.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations for child and adolescent patients

  • Provide ongoing medication management, follow-ups, and refill authorizations

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support holistic patient care

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Full-time (40 hours/week)

  • Flexible 8- or 10-hour shifts

  • Must be onsite in Kansas City, MO

  • Strong preference for evening availability on Wednesdays

  • No call, no weekends, no holidays





Qualifications:


  • MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Child Psychiatry

  • Active, unrestricted medical license in Missouri or ability to obtain

  • Experience in adult outpatient mental health settings preferred

  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
