Job Summary
Augusta Road Baptist Church is seeking energetic and compassionate individuals to help care for school age children ages K5-8th for after school activities. Our ideal candidate is able to work between 2-6pm Monday-Friday, is creative or athletic and willing to participate and lead games and activities. Our After School program strives to cater to the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of our students and a full staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide snack
• Keep alert of kids and their surroundings and administer first aid if needed
• Participate and/or lead in group activities such as gym games and crafts
• Discipline as needed under Director guidelines
• Encourage and build up children in the program
• Assist with homework as needed

Experience
Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas:

• At least one year of childcare experience

Pay: $11.80 - $12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
