**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our team. The School Counselor will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic achievement, personal and social development, and career planning. **Responsibilities:** - Provide individual and group counseling to students - Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success - Develop and implement programs to address students' behavioral health needs - Assist in crisis intervention and conflict management - Support students in career exploration and post-secondary planning - Advocate for students' well-being and access to resources **Skills:** - Experience in conflict management and resolution - Previous experience working with children or students - Knowledge of social work principles - Familiarity with child welfare and child protective services - Ability to conduct individual and group counseling sessions - Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff - Understanding of behavioral health issues in children and adolescents - Background in childcare or related fields This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working in a supportive educational environment.
