Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychotherapy and clinical counseling, with a commitment to providing high-quality therapy services to individuals facing various mental health challenges. This role requires a deep understanding of patient assessment, care, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including those with disabilities. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, including motivational interviewing techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Support patients in developing coping strategies and skills for managing their conditions.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in counseling and therapy.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent credential.
• Proven experience in psychotherapy and clinical counseling settings.
• Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and patient care principles.
• Familiarity with motivational interviewing and working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in counseling practices.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
