Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and resources to individuals and families in need. Qualifications
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Social Work and/or Gerontology/Psychology
- Bilingual speaking: Mandarin/English
Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and management services to individuals facing emergencies or challenging situations.
- Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies to coordinate care and resources for clients.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in social work practices and methodologies.
- Engage in workforce development initiatives to enhance client employability and skills.
- Advocate for clients within the child welfare system, ensuring their rights and needs are met.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients toward positive change.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and case management records.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of programs and Medicare services.
- Proficiency in crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques.
- Experience in welfare practices and policies.
- Excellent mentoring skills with the ability to supervise others effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in social work principles, including empathy, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with workforce development strategies that support client employment opportunities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse populations.
