The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Nevada Behavorial Health is a key member of our clinical team, responsible for providing high-quality behavioral health services to clients. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to individuals and families to support their mental and emotional well-being.
Tasks (Including but not limited to)
Assessment: Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with clients to establish achievable goals.
Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy, to address clients' mental health concerns.
Crisis Intervention: Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute emotional distress or in need of immediate support.
Case Management: Coordinate and advocate for clients' access to appropriate resources and services, including referrals to external agencies when necessary.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care.
Education: Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and coping strategies.
Ethical Practice: Adhere to the highest ethical standards, maintaining client confidentiality and respecting cultural diversity.
Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of clinical social work through ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications
Experience and Education
2-3 years of clinical social work experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
Education
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
License, Certificate Or Registration
Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
