School Social Worker Responsibilities

  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students and families

  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and outside agencies to support student well-being

  • Assess students' social, emotional, and environmental needs that impact learning

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of intervention plans

  • Serve as a liaison between home, school, and community to foster student success
