We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bilingual Community Liaison to serve as a vital link between our organization and the community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering relationships, promoting programs, and ensuring that community needs are met. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to public health, and the ability to engage with diverse populations.

Duties

• Develop and implement community outreach programs to raise awareness of services and resources available.
• Must perform on-call duties as a caregiver once every month.
• Collect and analyze data to assess community needs and program effectiveness.
• Manage social media platforms to promote initiatives and engage with the community.
• Collaborate with local organizations, schools, and businesses to enhance program visibility.
• Provide public speaking engagements to educate the community on relevant topics.
• Supervise volunteers during events and outreach activities, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.
• Assist in addiction counseling efforts by providing resources and support to individuals in need.
• Support program development by identifying gaps in services and proposing new initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social work or public health is preferred.
• Must drive and have open availability
• Weekends as needed
• Strong skills in data collection and analysis for program evaluation.
• Experience in supervising teams or volunteers is a plus.
• Excellent public speaking abilities with a talent for engaging diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with social media management tools and strategies.
• A background in addiction counseling is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
