Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans designed to improve their quality of life. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to educate families and caregivers about behavioral therapy techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of behavioral health principles and be skilled in medical documentation and terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Assist clients in developing essential life skills through structured activities and therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide direct support to individuals with autism and other behavioral challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes and data collection on client behaviors.
  • Educate clients and their families on strategies for managing behaviors effectively in various settings.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
  • Experience in assisting with behavioral therapy techniques, particularly for individuals with autism.
  • Proficient in patient care practices, ensuring dignity and respect for all clients.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation standards.
  • Ability to educate clients and families on care plans and therapeutic strategies effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with clients, families, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
