Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health challenges, including those with developmental disabilities and PTSD. This role requires a professional who is skilled in crisis management, patient care, and data collection, and is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing and applied behavior analysis.
Work collaboratively with clients to address issues related to PTSD and other mental health disorders.
Implement crisis management strategies to support clients in acute distress.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress, treatment plans, and data collection.
Engage with families and caregivers to provide support and education regarding mental health issues.
Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system and connect them with appropriate resources.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly developmental disabilities.
Strong skills in patient care, crisis management, and data collection.
Knowledge of therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing and applied behavior analysis.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in mental health care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
