Sage Counseling Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Social Worker to join our team as an Independent Contractor. Sage is a mental health practice that supports older adults, caregivers, and families through counseling services that promote the highest quality of life while navigating aging, medical complexities, caregiving challenges, family conflict, grief, and loss. 

The Clinical Social Worker will conduct assessments, provide counseling, psychotherapy, and referrals for adult and elderly clients in individual, couples, family, and group settings. They will develop and implement tailored therapeutic treatment plans, evaluate patients for changes in physical or mental health, and adjust interventions as needed. Responsibilities include discussing progress toward goals, maintaining a caseload via HIPAA-compliant telehealth or in-person sessions, completing timely documentation, referring clients to case management or crisis intervention as needed, and participating in monthly peer supervision.

• Degree in Social Work 
• LCSW and LSCSW licenses in Kansas and Missouri
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience working with older adults and/or caregivers.
• Strong knowledge of NASW Code of Ethics, NASW Standards for Clinical Social Work, and HIPAA regulations
• Ability to provide therapy via secure telehealth platforms and in-person
• Must maintain professional liability insurance and other necessary credentials
• Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and complete required documentation
