Dublin School, an intentionally small 9-12 all-gender college preparatory boarding and day school located in beautiful, rural southwestern NH, seeks a part-time Adolescent Counselor to join our community. We are searching for someone to join our counseling staff and increase our capacity to support our students as we strive to provide a calm, nurturing environment to help them succeed through difficult times.
Duties/Responsibilities: As a residential boarding school, employees are expected to participate in the larger school community. The successful candidate for this position would be expected to perform duties within the Health & Wellness department, support individual students, respond to emergent needs, and engage in school activities (e.g., morning meetings).
Required Skills/Abilities
Education & Experience: Licensed or license-eligible in the State of New Hampshire. Master's in clinical social work or an advanced degree in clinical psychology, mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy preferred- minimum of three years counseling experience with adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
Physical Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to perform these important functions. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform basic tasks unless those accommodations would impose an undue hardship on the school.
Benefits: This role is not eligible for benefits as a part-time school-year position. The schedule will be 30 hours per week and follow the school calendar.
