Community Liaison / Outreach Coordinator

About The Practice

We are a patient-centered private mental health practice in Albuquerque, NM, offering a range of therapeutic services including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for individuals with treatment-resistant depression and other mood disorders. Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while building strong partnerships throughout the local mental health community.

Position Summary

The Community Liaison / Outreach Coordinator will lead outreach efforts for our TMS program and serve as a bridge between the practice and the wider Albuquerque behavioral health ecosystem. This role focuses on generating TMS referrals, supporting patients in accessing community resources, and expanding awareness of our services among local providers and organizations.

Key Responsibilities

TMS Referral & Provider Outreach

  • Promote TMS services to mental health and medical professionals across Albuquerque.
  • Build and maintain referral relationships with psychiatrists, therapists, and primary care providers.
  • Attend and coordinate meetings, presentations, and networking events.
  • Educate referring providers about TMS eligibility, benefits, and outcomes.
  • Track outreach activity and maintain a provider contact database.

Community Engagement

  • Represent the practice at community mental health events, health fairs, and coalitions.
  • Build partnerships with nonprofits, advocacy groups, schools, and local organizations.
  • Expand awareness of services among underserved and culturally diverse populations.

Resource Navigation & Patient Advocacy

  • Maintain an up-to-date directory of Albuquerque mental health and social service resources.
  • Assist patients in accessing appropriate referrals and external support services.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to address patient needs outside of direct care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare outreach, case management, community engagement or pharmaceutical or medical devices sales.
  • Knowledge of Albuquerque’s mental health landscape and social services network or the ability to quickly familiarize on the fly.
  • Familiarity with TMS or neuromodulation preferred; training provided.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Additional Compensation

$6,000 signing bonus paid out over the first 3 months

Expected commission totaling $8,000- $12,000 a month by the end of the first year.
