Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) to join our interdisciplinary team. The LGPC will provide direct mental health counseling services under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), supporting clients through individual and group therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders.Conduct intake assessments, mental status exams, and risk assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and CARF regulations.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other service providers.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing supervision with LCPC.
  • Respond to client crises with appropriate clinical and procedural intervention.
  • Uphold ethical standards in all counseling practices, in accordance with ACA Code of Ethics and Maryland Board regulations.

Requirements:

  • Required: Active LGPC license in the State of Maryland.
  • Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care, mental health diagnoses, and treatment planning.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and underserved communities.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Must be open to supervision and professional development.

Pay:

  • $26-34 hourly; depending on experience, certification, education, skills, and performance.

Timings:

  • 7am-3:30pm M-F
  • Expected hours: 42.5
