Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) to join our interdisciplinary team. The LGPC will provide direct mental health counseling services under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), supporting clients through individual and group therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders.Conduct intake assessments, mental status exams, and risk assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary team members.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and CARF regulations.
Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other service providers.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing supervision with LCPC.
Respond to client crises with appropriate clinical and procedural intervention.
Uphold ethical standards in all counseling practices, in accordance with ACA Code of Ethics and Maryland Board regulations.

Requirements:

Required: Active LGPC license in the State of Maryland.
Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care, mental health diagnoses, and treatment planning.
Experience working with diverse populations and underserved communities.
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Must be open to supervision and professional development.
