Position Overview

We are currently hiring a Licensed Psychotherapist to join our interdisciplinary mental health team as a 1099 contractor. This role offers hybrid flexibility (telehealth + in-person) and the opportunity to serve a diverse client population across outpatient and structured care settings.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, self-motivated, and passionate about delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy. You’ll work closely with psychiatric providers, case managers, and peer support specialists to foster holistic care for individuals and families navigating a variety of mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using appropriate modalities
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to client needs
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and clinical evaluations
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and care coordinators
• Support clients in developing coping strategies and behavioral change goals
• Document services in a timely, accurate manner within the EMR
• Offer crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary
• Maintain ethical, confidential, and culturally competent care in accordance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Active clinical license in the state of Virginia: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCP
• Minimum of 1–2 years of post-licensure experience preferred
• Experience with telehealth platforms and hybrid care models
• Strong knowledge of biopsychosocial and evidence-based approaches to mental health
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
• Must carry or be willing to obtain liability insurance (malpractice)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
