Better Life Therapy is a group practice of helping professionals working to enhance the mental well-being of adults in our community. We are a fun, dynamic group of clinicians who value working collaboratively and helping improve the health and wellness of our communities.

We are looking for a clinician who would like to focus on growing in the clinical aspects of their work while leaving administrative side to our team of support staff.

Lead therapist will provide outpatient individual therapy in private practice setting to clients of Better Life Therapy LLC within Colorado and remotely.

The lead therapist will also provide 4-5 hours per week of direct individual supervision with interns and limited license professionals. Meetings may be in person or virtual, depending on preference. Must take notes and properly document interactions. Heavily supported by clinical director.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Master’s Degree in counseling, social work or a related mental health field.

Active license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, or PhD) in the State of Colorado.

Available to hold at least 25 patient and supervision sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Better Life Therapy.

Other Qualification Preferences:

Prior experience in a private practice setting.

Three years of experience providing psychotherapy services.

Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., eating disorders, OCD, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.).

Hours:

Work hours and schedule may vary depending on client and Better Life Therapy needs. However, it is expected that therapist will be available to hold at least 25 patient sessions/supervisory meetings per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Better Life Therapy. Patient sessions and supervisory meetings are held via telehealth.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform on-site clinical counseling services to patients of Better Life Therapy, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.

Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.

Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Better Life Therapy.

Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 48 hours. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.

Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Better Life Therapy or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (24 hours). Keep patient files accurate and up to date.
