Beacon Behavioral Partners is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, or a Licensed Case Social Worker for the Texas Neuro Specialist in Bedford, Texas. As an Outpatient Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals with a variety of mental health concerns. Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to support the well-being and recovery of our clients.

What does the Licensed Professional Counselor do? (including but not limited to)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will specialize in areas such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote client engagement and motivation for change
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Provide case management services, including referrals to community resources and support services
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment progress
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of outpatient therapy
  • Experience: Keeps abreast of mental health and therapy trends and knowledge.
  • Participates in in-service programs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Outpatient Therapist or similar role
  • Graduate degree in counseling (or related field) from an accredited university/college
  • Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, PTSD, or other mental health conditions
  • Must be licensed by the State where your hiring facility is located.


Physical Demands:

This job requires employees to have a full range of physical capabilities, including the ability to handle and lift patients, demonstrate manual and finger dexterity, and maintain good eye-hand coordination. Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift and carry items up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within the normal range are also required.
