Your Role

You will:

  • Conduct psychological interviews and evaluations for juvenile and adult defendants
  • Assess candidates applying to Bexar County Juvenile Probation Department positions
  • Provide supervision to practicum students
  • Prepare psychological profiles and testify in court as needed
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Psychology (or related field) from an accredited institution
  • At least 1 year of supervised postdoctoral experience in clinical or forensic psychology
  • Strong skills in psychological testing, evaluations, and written/oral communication
  • Preferred: Experience in correctional settings or forensic evaluations

Licensure

  • Must be licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, or eligible for licensure within 6 months of hire

Salary Range

$72,000 - $114,000
