Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW, PhD/PsyD Doctor) at bareWell. We are unfortunately not taking additional associates at this time, though if you are close to completion of your hours & test - we empower you to check in with us! The counselor will be expected to provide inclusive, quality client care, mental health assessments & treatment planning, collaborative consult groups and team building. The role is based in San Diego, CA and partial remote work is offered - as we value offering flexible schedules to accommodate a range of our clinician's needs beyond their role as a therapist.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate level education, relevant to the field
• Current, Active State of California License as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LPCC
• Resume (in PDF format) with license number provided for verification purposes
• Ability to work reliably, consistently, stay organized, and manage your time + book well
• A collaborative spirit — someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team
• Willingness to contribute to both your own growth and your colleagues’ development
• Strong critical thinking skills, reliability, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Ability to work a minimum of 26 clinical hours per week (full-time), providing clinical services as scheduled with consistency and care, showing up reliably, on time, present and professionally
• Complete documentation within 48 hours of each session & keep patient records up to date — timely, accurate, and thorough documentation is key
• Maintain proper licensure, CEUs, and follow all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines
• Join us in lively group consultations, monthly team meetings, lunch & learn presentations, quarterly outings and engaging team discussions
