About Job
- Assist clinician in intake process, including assessment and creating a welcoming environment for the youth.
- Intervene in the youth’s behavior as needed, providing stabilization services.
- Work in coordination with the parent and/or social worker as treatment team members, including assisting the social worker in the preparation of a Care Plan.
- Engage the youth in therapeutic activities and projects.
- Complete daily progress notes and quarterly summaries.
- Provide supervision for visits with family when necessary.
- Participate in weekly supervision with the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork including, but not limited to, mental health notes, time sheets, petty cash, and mileage.
- Provide on-call response as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Maintain a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 21 years of age.
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Experience working with youth or families providing mental health services.
- Full-time
- Thursday and Friday Swing (11am-1130pm), Saturday Overnight (7pm-730am), and 24 hr. on-call Tuesday.
- Starting at $21.22 - $23.72 per hour.
- Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam.
- Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualification.
