Intake Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and providing essential support to our residents. The Intake Coordinator ensures that residents understand their rights, responsibilities, and the program’s expectations, creating a foundation for their successful integration into the treatment environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Collects and documents detailed information about the client.
● Uploads all information into the clients chart accurately.
● Track and monitor incoming referrals.
● Creating resident charts and documenting initial assessment and check in policies.
● Ensure all resident belongings are properly dispositioned and recorded upon intake.
● Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all intake procedures and belongings management.
● Giving residents orientation.
● Responsible for supervising residents and ensuring their health, safety, and welfare
● Ensure the smooth operations of their shift
● Assist BHT with Smoke breaks ensuring compliance with company policies and
procedures.
● Answers and transfers incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
● Manage Elevator System including granting access to visitors and residents.
● Ensures all visitors sign in and out , maintain accurate records.
● Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
● Assist with duties as assigned.
●Conduct resident property dispositions at the time of admission efficiently, document, and upload completed disposition charts in EMR.
●Assist with other administrative duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of Hopess Residential Treatment Facility.
Qualifications/Experience/Certifications
● 3 Months Behavioral Health Experience
● High School Diploma/GED
● Must be at least 21 years of age.
● Have 2 Current TB’s placed and read within 12 months AND a TB questionnaire form.
● In Person First Aid and CPR Certification
● Fingerprint Clearance Card
● One Year Sobriety
