Schedule

Mon - Thurs 7:45 am to 5:00 pm occasional Fridays

Duties

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
• Verify patient insurance information and ensure accurate billing practices.
• Schedule appointments and manage the patient schedule efficiently.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of health information.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient care services.
• Assist in handling inquiries from patients regarding their health information or appointment status.
• Handling accounts receivable

Requirements

• Previous experience as a dental receptionist is required
• Familiarity with insurance verification processes is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective patient interaction.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance in handling sensitive patient information.
