Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with individuals with disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to enhance their quality of life through evidence-based interventions.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs and behaviors.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
- Implement and monitor behavioral interventions in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Provide training and support to caregivers, educators, and other professionals involved in the client's care.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical records.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, and progress notes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with complex needs.
Experience
- A minimum of a master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field.
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and providing patient care is preferred.
- Familiarity with special education practices and patient assessment techniques is advantageous.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and behavioral therapy approaches is essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation processes is beneficial.
