Job description - BCBA Clinical Supervisor (Alexandria, VA and Virginia Beach, VA)

We seek a dedicated and experienced BCBA Clinical Supervisor to oversee and enhance the quality of care our clients receive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities and a commitment to mentorship, one-on-one clinical staff development, and supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor clinical staff, including RBTs and BTs, ensuring high standards of client care and professional growth.
  • Conduct client assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that align with applied behavior analysis principles.
  • Provide mentorship to RBTs and BTs, fostering skill development through structured supervision, training recommendations, observations, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with corrective guidance, mentorship, documentation, and HIPAA regulation compliance. Oversee ethical compliance daily within the clinic.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including caregivers and educators, to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for individuals with disabilities.
  • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support client development while ensuring staff competency in intervention strategies.
  • Lead professional development initiatives with hands-on learning experiences for clinical staff.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans to ensure data-driven decision-making and goal achievement.
  • Serve as an advocate for clients, ensuring their rights and dignity are upheld within the clinical setting.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • BCBA Certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
  • LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) - Virginia required.
  • Proven experience in a clinical supervisory role, emphasizing mentorship and staff training.
  • Knowledge of special education practices, behavior intervention strategies, and medical terminology related to ABA therapy.
  • Strong understanding of behavior assessment techniques, patient care protocols, and ethical standards in ABA.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear feedback and support a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, including training and mentorship programs for clinical staff.

Join our team as a BCBA Clinical Supervisor, where you will not only impact the lives of individuals with disabilities but also shape the next generation of RBTs and BTs through guidance, mentorship, and professional development.
