Fundraising Assistant Position Overview:

  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Pay: Base pay of $500 per week plus commissions and bonuses
  • Schedule: Monday-Saturday (Avg 35-40 hrs/wk)
  • Job Location: This role operates from both our main office in Lexington,KY and designated retail locations.
  • Fundraising Assistants will be face to face with customers on a daily basis
  • Clients & Products: L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs & Violence) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering safer, healthier communities by educating youth and adults about the dangers of drugs, bullying, and violence. Founded in 2001, L.E.A.D. collaborates with law enforcement agencies, educators, community leaders, and families to deliver evidence-based prevention programs across the United States

For Infinite Marketing, our Fundraising Assistants Team facilitates all fundraising and donation activities through on-site events and face-to-face communication. As a Fundraising Assistant on our fundraising team, you will ensure the professional rollout/game plan of client outreach initiatives and establish their presence in the Lexington, KY region.

You will engage with existing L.E.A.D. donors, potential donors, and other local community members by introducing them to our clients’ name, purpose, and reasons why we represent them. The vision of L.E.A.D. is to create safer, healthier communities free of drugs, bullying, and violence throughout the country and ultimately the world .With being the face of our L.E.A.D. client, the Fundraising Assistant requires exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and a passion for our clients’ mission in order to provide professional and friendly in-person relationship building.

Fundraising Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Work in-person to provide knowledgeable information about L.E.A.D. initiatives and donation parameters in order to generate local revenue for the programs
  • Assist in the setup and preparation of fundraising events, including arranging signage, promotional materials, and fundraising booths
  • Act as the primary point of contact for event attendees, donors, and sponsors, with the goal of generating revenue for our clients
  • Ensure that the event is clean and organized at all times
  • Promote and communicate the mission, goals, and impact of our clients fundraising campaigns effectively
  • Engage with customers and community members to build a positive brand name for our client
  • Coordinate with event organizers and vendors to ensure a smooth flow of activities
  • Prepare event reports, including feedback and suggestions for improvement
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in all interactions
  • Adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to fundraising

Fundraising Assistant Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event coordination, customer service, or sales is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm for our fundraising mission and goals.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required for events.
  • Reliable transportation to event locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $600.00 - $1,200.00 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
