Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, creating a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
  • Deliver personalized outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to each client's unique needs, promoting healing and resilience.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to support clients’ mental health journeys effectively.
  • Contribute to case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning, utilizing your expertise to enhance client care.
  • Ensure the timely completion of billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations while maintaining professional standards.
  • Engage in collaborative care with our team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow counselors to provide holistic mental health solutions.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
  • Possess a provisional license as required by state regulations.
  • Educational background leading to or resulting in professional licensing.
  • A genuine passion for mental health and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development, including access to free supervision and continuing education opportunities.
  • Eagerness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
  • Strong commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Effective time management skills for completing documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
