New Paths Counseling, LLC is a small privately owned practice serving individuals in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with a primary office in beautiful downtown Haddonfield, New Jersey. We offer both virtual as well as in-person therapeutic options.

Role Description:

New Paths Counseling, LLC is seeking compassionate and professional Psychotherapist’s/LCSW’s/LSW’s for an expanding Private Practice in Haddonfield, NJ for individual and couples counseling. All are welcome to apply!

Clinicians will have the flexibility to create a structured work schedule that meets their needs.
This is a hybrid- designed position. The clinician can schedule either in-person or virtual appointments according to their personal needs.

The clinician can develop a role that promotes the clinician’s strengths and specialties.
The clinician will receive support in developing an active caseload initially.

o Once the clinician has developed a working caseload, they will be responsible to maintain and nurture the therapeutic relationships necessary in providing authentic and supportive care.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of New Jersey required, and in Pennsylvania preferred.
* Supervision for LSW, LCSW seeking licensure *
Experience in providing direct care to individuals or families
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to empathize with and connect with clients

Responsibilities:

Ability to complete paperwork and encounter notes proficiency
Conduct Culturally-Grounded Biopsychosocial Assessment/ Evaluations
Maintain active caseload and follow with patients to maintain continuity of care
Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and intervention modalities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the ethical standards outlined in the NASW code of ethics
Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Knowledge and Experience with EMR
Flexible and adaptable to meet the dynamics needs of clients’
Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including behavioral therapy and psychotherapy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Stay updated on clinical research and best practices in social work and mental health care.

I would like to gradually expand the practice to accommodate the needs of the surrounding communities. An ideal co-worker will be:

Contracted with insurance panels Blue Cross, Horizon BCBS of NJ, United Healthcare, and Aetna are preferred but not required.
Motived to help others
Compassionate to their own personal needs as well as the needs of the patient
Strong connection to education-based skills and practice setting
Experience in private practice is preferred but not required
Experience working with Medical professionals, Lawyers, Professors
Experience with community connections and systems a plus
