Location: Days Park Campus
Reports to: Principal
Per Diem: 235.00
The Opportunity
We are looking for a School Counselor who:

• Promotes student success, provides preventative services, and responds to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic and social-emotional development for all students.
• Plans and delivers an effective and comprehensive school counseling program
• Provides direct services (80%), and maintains program management, system support, and accountability (20%)
• Implements guidance/social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum
• Implements developmentally appropriate and prevention-oriented group activities
• Assists students individually or in groups with developing academic, personal, and social goals and plans
• Collaborates with parents/guardians and school staff to assist students with educational planning
• Provides individual and group counseling to students with identified needs
• Conducts risk assessments and makes appropriate recommendations and referrals
• Participates as a member of the Student Support Team
• Collects and analyzes data to guide program direction and monitor student academic performance, behavior, and attendance

Requirements
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• School Counseling Certification or comparable certificate/licensure
