Job Summary: FAMILY SERVICE COUNSELOR

Location: Bushwick, NY (Brooklyn)

Role Overview:

The family service counselor is crucial in driving the strategic goals of the cemetery. This individual will implement a strategic plan to foster growth, build partnerships, engage the market, and serve families with integrity, compassion, and respect.

This role requires 5 days on-site, Sunday through Thursday with the ability for a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute a strategic growth plan aligned with the Evergreens goals.
• Engage with the market to expand Evergreens reach and influence.
• Build and maintain partnerships with funeral directors, families, community members, and other stakeholders.
• Uphold and exemplify the core values of integrity, compassion, and respect.

Qualifications:

• BA degree in Communications, Business, or a related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience
• Skilled in developing and executing strategic plans, setting financial targets, and implementing growth strategies to enhance financial performance
• Experienced in financial planning with a strong understanding of key financial reporting metrics
• Proficient in expanding business to new organizations, communities, and demographic groups
• Knowledgeable about market conditions and competitors' strengths and weaknesses
• Capable of coaching and motivating others to achieve exceptional results
• Proficient in the use of computers, software, and technology; social media skills are a plus
• Respectful of different faiths, rituals, and traditions
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license, a good driving record, and proof of insurance
• Ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish is preferred, but not required.

Performance Bonus: Up to 20% of the base salary, based on achieving sales targets
