Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Academic Year Counseling Services is a member of the Counseling Services Leadership Team, participating in the visioning and executive decision-making of the department. This position provides leadership for and management of services provided by part-time, 9-month Academic Year (AY) Counseling staff. This includes the selection, training, and administrative/clinical supervision of part-time professional employees. Additionally, this position provides clinical services to University students, clinical supervision of graduate student trainees and unlicensed staff, and outreach to the campus community. The Assistant Director of Academic Year Counseling Services reports directly to the Director of General Counseling Services.
