LifeLinks is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing behavioral health services to individuals in Coles County and surrounding regions. Employment Specialist

This is a great opportunity for a driven individual to provide vocational training and support to individuals with a serious mental illness who express a desire to secure competitive employment in the community. Interaction with individuals will include providing assistance with job searches and assist in ongoing career development. Also will provide outreach to area employers regarding the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) program.

Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships in order to accomplish goals and objectives. The ideal candidate must be comfortable to speak publicly in a variety of platforms and participate in community events and marketing.

Education and/or experience equivalent to undergraduate degrees in mental health, social services or business is required, at a minimum.

Due to the mobility of the program, successful candidates must have a valid driver’s license.

Pay: $16.80 - $24.35 per hour
