Job Description
The BCBA Center Director is a leadership role responsible for overseeing clinical operations within our therapy centers while ensuring the highest quality of care and compliance with ethical and professional standards. center Directors combine clinical expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with administrative and supervisory responsibilities to guide the center’s staff and support client treatment outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of assigned regional team, including but not limited to BCBAs, Practicum students, & RBTs.
- Support and review of assessment and treatment plan development.
- Ongoing audits of Clinical Programming (challenging behavior management, skill acquisition, and data collection strategies).
- Oversight of ongoing evaluation of caregiver/client progress.
- Review of treatment and behavior intervention plans, along with additional clinical documentation.
- Provide training and on-going support to caregivers and staff.
- Support commitment to care and potential transitions in the region.
- Collaboration with other departments as needed, including other clinical departments and operations (e.g., billing, human resources).
- Manage and oversee own caseload of clients receiving ABA services as a BCBA, as deemed necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- MA/MS in Psychology, Education, Special Education or any other related area of study from an accredited institution.
- BCBA Certification completed.
- 5 + years experience with individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities and mental health disorders.
- Experience with severely challenging behaviors and the design and implementation of related assessment and intervention strategies.
- Excellent management and clinical skills.
- Mastery of ABA principles, theory, methods and evidence-based practices.
- Knowledge of effective practice, clinical decision making, outcomes-based intervention, and areas of practice specific to developmental disorders.
- Experience working in collaboration with Regional Centers, School Districts, and other agencies extremely valued
- Bilingual skills valued and are highly encouraged to apply
- Valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation
- Proper background check and TB clearance
