WHO WE ARE:

We’re a part of the Ivy Rehab Network, a national provider of clinic-based physical, occupational, speech rehabilitation and ABA services for children.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Behavior Technician is responsible for the delivery of patient treatment programs designed and directed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Follow ABA therapy during sessions, as directed by the Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)
  • Perform ABA treatment/interventions as directed by BCBA and Lead ABA Tech
  • Effectively communicate and document treatment and response to treatment.
  • Complete required healthcare training, CPR/First Aid training, recipient rights training, behavior technician training and any other applicable compliance measures
  • Completes required treatment and billing documentation on a timely basis
  • Adhere to clinic and governmental policies and procedures
  • Prepare materials for treatment sessions
  • Set up prior to and clean up after treatment sessions, assists in maintaining clinic cleanliness
  • Fosters and maintains effective and appropriate professional relationships with other therapists and techs, patients and family members.
  • Perform other diverse duties as required or requested

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven exceptional patient care experience
  • Self-motivated with the willingness to exceed patient expectations
  • Behavior Technician experience and background/training preferred, but not required
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred, but not required; training and supervision provided to obtain RBT
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility with changes in workload

WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a competitive benefit package, 3 weeks of accrued PTO per year, clinic-based services and a great M-F schedule. No need to drive from clinic to clinic or for in-home sessions.

Enjoy a set full-time schedule that does not change based on client schedules. Supervisors have small caseloads with the ability to provide more support to the behavior technicians as needed.

A minimum of a two week training session for each behavior technician to have time to familiarize yourself with the kids, clinic and structure of our ABA program. You always work with the kids you have been trained on, and who you are familiar with.

We encourage our behavior technicians to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). We provide the training, supervision and assessment required to become an RBT. Our company also reimburses for the cost of the RBT test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
