Are you currently enrolled in a Master's program for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and working towards obtaining your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification? WhiteMountain is actively seeking passionate and dedicated individuals who are enrolled in or have completed a Master’s program in ABA, specifically those specializing in Positive Behavior Supports. In this role, you will have the invaluable opportunity to conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with children, adolescents, and their caregivers, helping to foster meaningful growth and development.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Work closely with individuals under the age of 21 and their caregivers to create and implement proactive, person-centered treatment plans. Your focus will be on building new skills while addressing challenging behaviors. This process will utilize principles of positive behavior support, applied behavior analysis, and individualized practices that respect each person’s unique background and needs.
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide targeted interventions with both the children and their caregivers. This will involve identifying specific behavioral challenges and areas for skill development, ensuring a tailored approach to each situation. -
- Parental and Caregiver Support:Engage with parents and caregivers to cultivate nurturing home environments that support targeted behavioral changes. This includes employing behavioral skills training to enhance their problem-solving abilities, teaching techniques, data collection strategies, and fostering data-informed decision-making. Your guidance will be crucial as they work toward helping their children acquire new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a Master’s program for ABA, or completion of a Master’s degree with a commitment to pursuing your BCBA certification.
- Ability to pass a DHS background check to ensure a safe environment for all clients.
- Reliable transportation to facilitate travel to various client locations and sessions.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
