Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team at The HUG Center. In this role, you will work directly with children to implement individualized treatment plans, fostering their growth and development in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Provide direct support to children in various settings, promoting skill development and positive behaviors.
- Monitor and document each child’s progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet their goals.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to reinforce strategies at home and ensure consistency in care.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral techniques.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
