About Job

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children diagnosed with behavioral challenges, implementing individualized care plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in supporting the development of positive behaviors and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Duties

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Provide direct support to children in various settings, focusing on behavior management and skill development.
  • Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and assist in managing medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to care.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in special education and patient care.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with supervisors regarding client progress and any necessary adjustments to care plans.

Experience

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with behavioral health challenges, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management techniques is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in data collection and documentation are essential for tracking client progress effectively.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of client care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating patience and empathy towards clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
