Department: Essex PACT 12
Salary: $60,000- $65,000 $5k Sign-on Bonus
Location: West Orange, NJ , Serving Essex County, NJ
Work hours: Tuesday-Saturday 8-4:30p Full time 40 hours per week
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As part of a multi-disciplinary, core services team, provides highly individualized services for enrollees who have co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. Assesses history and current needs/preferences of the person served in the areas of mental health and substance use. Works with the person served and the team to develop integrated mental health and substance use treatment goals and interventions. Provides clinical leadership for PACT staff in the area of co-occurring treatment. The Co-Occurring Specialist provides assessment and direct service for people with serious and persistent mental illness and persons with co-occurring substance use issues enrolled in the PACT Program. This position is 70-80 % community based.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related area
- Must have proof of CADC
- 2 years' experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness
- Driver's License, Vehicle:
- Valid driver's license required
- No more than one moving violation within the past 12 months
- Vehicle required
