About Us:
Second Chance Care is a client-centered behavioral health organization committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our IOP program is designed to support individuals through structured, therapeutic care while empowering them to achieve lasting recovery.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LCPC to join our IOP team. The ideal candidate will provide individual, group, and family counseling services, facilitate psychoeducational groups, and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate 3-hour IOP group sessions in accordance with program curriculum and clinical standards
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions as needed
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner
  • Participate in clinical team meetings and collaborate with medical and support staff
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary
  • Maintain compliance with state and CARF regulations and documentation standards
  • Support clients with relapse prevention planning, goal-setting, and continued care coordination

Qualifications:

  • Active LCPC license in the state of Maryland
  • Experience working in substance use treatment or co-occurring disorders preferred
  • Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (Alleva experience a plus)

Schedule & Compensation:

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
