Pride Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join a team in Washington DC. This is a 13-weeks assignment, with possible extension.

Job Summary:

Seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) to provide inpatient social work services. The candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and counseling services to patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and case managers.
• Connect patients with community resources and post-discharge support services.
• Advocate for patient rights and assist with ethical decision-making.
• Document patient interactions and care plans accurately in electronic medical records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Education & Licensure:

• Active DC LCSW or LGSW license (Required)
• Master’s degree in Social Work (Required)

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a social worker (Required)

Skills:

• Strong communication and counseling skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with diverse patient populations
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and discharge planning

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 08:30 AM - 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Flu Vaccine Required (No Exemptions)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• COVID-19 Vaccine Not Required
• Must be willing to work every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Payrate: $55-$60/hr
