Role Description

This is a contract role for a Music Therapist, located in Brooklyn, NY with some work from home acceptable. The Music Therapist will be responsible for providing music therapy services to clients with various needs, including mental health issues and developmental disabilities. Day-to-day tasks include assessing client needs, planning and implementing music therapy sessions, and documenting progress. This is a hybrid role, requiring both in-person and remote work.

Qualifications

• Skills in Music Therapy and Music
• Experience in Treatment and Mental Health
• Knowledge of working with Developmental Disabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Relevant certification in Music Therapy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with cultural and artistic community programs is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy or related field
