You’ll provide individual and group therapy, develop personalized treatment plans, and support clients through every stage of treatment — from assessment to discharge.Whether you’re a seasoned counselor or early in your career with a strong foundation in substance use treatment, this is an opportunity to do deeply meaningful work in a supportive environment.What You’ll Do:

Build authentic connections through individual and group counseling
Create customized treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs
Facilitate engaging educational sessions on recovery, addiction, and related topics
Collaborate with families, medical teams, and discharge planners to support holistic care
Use the D.A.P. method for clear, effective documentation
Act as a steady guide and advocate for your assigned clients
Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing training
Help create a positive, respectful, and recovery-focused environment

What We’re Looking For:

Education:

MA/MSW preferred, or BA with CADC
Licensure preferred but not required
Experience:

1–3 years of counseling experience
Solid understanding of 12-Step recovery principles
Familiarity with NJSAMS (preferred, not required)
