About Job
- Build authentic connections through individual and group counseling
- Create customized treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs
- Facilitate engaging educational sessions on recovery, addiction, and related topics
- Collaborate with families, medical teams, and discharge planners to support holistic care
- Use the D.A.P. method for clear, effective documentation
- Act as a steady guide and advocate for your assigned clients
- Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing training
- Help create a positive, respectful, and recovery-focused environment
- Education:
- MA/MSW preferred, or BA with CADC
- Licensure preferred but not required
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of counseling experience
- Solid understanding of 12-Step recovery principles
- Familiarity with NJSAMS (preferred, not required)
