Additional Salary / Appointment Information
Candidate is eligible for a 15% retention and recruitment supplement. 1199 BU psychologists receive a 4.5% increase at the beginning of the new fiscal year on July 1st, 2025.
License to practice psychology as issued by Ohio State Board of Psychology per Section 4732.12 or 4732.15 (A) of Ohio Revised Code.

OhioMHAS Values
- Functions as lead worker for Psychology Assistants, Psychology Interns & students, & coordinates psychological services & programs: participates in a broad range of professional & clinical activities, providing services to adult & geriatric patients
- Administers & interprets psychological tests
- Provides individual & group therapy including specialized services to forensic patients when needed
- Reevaluates forensic & non-forensic patients, as assigned
- Makes recommendations for treatment & planning
- Participates in team meetings: prepares psychological notes & reports; keeps records up to date
- Follows up work with adult & geriatric patients during their stay in hospital & gives them additional help to prepare them for adjustment to society before final disposition.
- Serves as psychological consultant in hospital & in community: maintains records & prepares statistical reports
