JOB DESCRIPTION: NCCA is seeking an experienced school psychologist to provide a comprehensive range of services
Reports to: Director of Student Services
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducts comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations that include but are not limited to the following areas: intellectual, developmental, academic, adaptive, social/emotional and behavior
- Counsels students individually and in small groups
- Works with various school teams to support the implementation of MTSS
- Interprets and utilizes data for the purpose of developing appropriate interventions for struggling learners
- Provides crisis intervention for individual students when needed
- Provides training for school staff members and parents on a wide variety of topics
- Consults with teachers, staff, and administrators
- Performs related duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree and Educational Specialist’s Degree in School Psychology
- 6th year degree in School Psychology
Licensing / Certification Requirements:
- NCDPI licensure as a school psychologist
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience providing virtual assessments
- Experience providing counseling services to individual students and small groups
- Training or experience supporting the MTSS process at the school level

Salary Range: State Salary Schedule plus supplement
