Salary Range: Up to $60,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.

Hours: up to 40 hours per week, exempt.

Essential Functions

Job Summary

Full-time non-tenure track expected to have a 100% teaching load and teach four courses per fall and spring semester.

Required Qualifications
  • A doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP accredited program or similar CACREP accredited doctorate such as Rehabilitation Counseling.
  • This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UTSA and its infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Texas LPC or Texas LPC-S license.
  • Texas School Certification
  • Previous university teaching experience in a CACREP accredited Counseling Program.

  • UTSA is a tobacco free campus.

Working Conditions
  • Expected start date of September 2025.

This position will be primarily located on UTSA Downtown campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
